This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Pruvio mobile apps, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, your name, email address, and password when you sign up.
• Contact information, phone number (if provided) used for account recovery, notifications, and client communication.
• Business information, company name, industry, team members, invitation records, and settings you configure for your organization.
• Job and project content, photos you capture through the app, job notes, reports, client names, job addresses, and related documentation.
• Location data, GPS coordinates attached to photos and job records, used to provide timestamped, geotagged documentation. Location is collected only when you capture a photo or record a project event.
• Payment information, billing details you provide to purchase a subscription or receive payments. Card numbers are collected and stored by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Device and usage data, device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, and analytics about how features are used.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Pruvio Service, including job documentation, team management, and client portals.
• Generate AI-powered reports, summaries, and dispute letters from content you submit.
• Process subscriptions, invoices, and payments.
• Send transactional emails, push notifications, and in-app messages (account alerts, receipts, invite notifications).
• Authenticate your identity, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of the Service.
• Improve the Service, including debugging, analytics, and feature development.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Photos & Location

Photos captured through Pruvio are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure. GPS metadata attached to photos is used solely to provide timestamped, geotagged documentation for your business records and for the client portals you choose to share. We do not sell or share photo content or location data with third parties for advertising. You can disable camera and location permissions from your device settings at any time.

4. AI Features

Pruvio uses AI (powered by Anthropic) to generate reports, dispute letters, and job summaries. Content you submit to AI features is processed by our AI provider to generate responses. We do not sell your content and we do not permit our AI providers to train their models on your content. You control your AI feature usage from the in-app Settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate Pruvio. Each provider receives only the data necessary to perform its function:

• Supabase, database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe, subscription billing and payment processing.
• Anthropic, AI model provider used to generate reports and summaries.
• RevenueCat, in-app subscription management on iOS and Android.
• Resend, transactional email delivery (receipts, invites, notifications).
• Expo, mobile app build, delivery, and push notification infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and associated business content within 30 days of the deletion request, except where limited retention is required for legal, tax, or financial compliance (for example, invoice records).

You can request deletion by emailing [email protected] from your account email address, or by using the "Delete Account" option inside the app.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your account and associated data.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level security on our database, HMAC-verified webhooks, and least-privilege access controls. No system is 100% secure, please use a strong, unique password and enable any available account security features.

9. Children's Privacy

Pruvio is a business tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

11. International Users

Pruvio is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of Pruvio after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
