Cookie Policy
How Pruvio uses cookies and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. They let a site remember information between pages and visits, for example to keep you signed in, to secure your session, or to remember a choice you made. This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to secure your session, to remember your preferences and your cookie choice, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and, where you allow it, to measure and personalize marketing. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies the same way our consent tool does. Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and Marketing cookies are off until you allow them.
Strictly necessary
These are required to run Pruvio. They include your sign-in and session, security and fraud protection, and the cookie that records your consent choice so we do not ask you again. The site cannot function properly without them, so they cannot be turned off.
Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited most, so we can improve it. They load only if you allow Analytics. The information is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you.
Marketing
These are used to measure and personalize marketing, including measuring whether an ad led to a visit or a signup. They load only if you allow Marketing. If you do not allow them, they are not set.
Cookies set by service providers
Some cookies are set by providers that help us operate Pruvio:
- Supabase, for sign-in, session, and authentication.
- Cloudflare, for security, fraud prevention, and site performance.
- Stripe, for fraud prevention and secure payment on checkout pages.
- Where you allow Analytics or Marketing, our analytics and advertising providers may set cookies for those purposes.
These providers process data under their own terms and our agreements with them. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers.
How long cookies last
Cookies are either session cookies, which are removed when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. Your cookie choice is stored so we can honor it on future visits. You can clear it at any time using Cookie settings or your browser.
How to control cookies
- Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of Pruvio from working.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, we default Analytics and Marketing to off.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The date shown above reflects the latest update.
