Privacy Policy
How Pruvio collects, uses, and protects your data.
1. Overview#
Pruvio is a product of Dynamic Trading Ventures LLC, a Maryland limited liability company doing business as Pruvio (Pruvio, we, us, our). Our principal place of business is Rockville, Maryland, United States.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pruvio collects, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you. It applies to the Pruvio web application, mobile applications for iOS and Android, our public websites, and our application programming interface (together, the service). You can reach us at any time at [email protected].
In plain terms: Pruvio processes data on behalf of the service businesses that use it to run their operations. The account owner owns the data they put into Pruvio. We process that data to provide the service to them. Pruvio does not sell customer data.
2. Information we collect#
We collect information in three broad categories.
2a. Account information
When you create and configure an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (which is stored only in hashed form). We also collect your business name, industry, business size, and role, along with the answers you provide during onboarding, such as your goals, the tools you already use, the type of customers you serve, and similar setup responses.
2b. Service data
This is the operational content you create and store in Pruvio to run your business. It includes the jobs you create, the clients and contacts you add, the photos you capture (including the GPS coordinates, timestamps, and device identifiers used for the SHA-256 verification chain described in Section 7), invoices, estimates, service agreements, team messages, and audit log entries. The account owner controls this data and is responsible for the personal information of their own clients that they choose to store in Pruvio.
2c. Technical and usage data
To operate and improve the service, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the features you use, error logs, and performance metrics. We use cookies and local storage for essential functionality, including the onboarding draft (pv:onboarding_draft), your last known plan (pv:last_known_plan), session tokens for authentication, and your theme preference. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
3. How we use information#
We use the information described above to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the service;
- authenticate you and secure your account;
- process payments and manage subscriptions;
- send transactional emails and, with your consent, marketing emails;
- power AI features such as Reports, Job Creator, Dispute Letters, Photo Analysis, Voice Transcription, and Translation;
- understand usage so we can improve the product;
- comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests; and
- enforce our Terms of Service and protect the rights, safety, and property of Pruvio and our users.
4. AI features and third-party processing#
Pruvio offers several AI features: AI Reports, AI Job Creator, AI Dispute Letters, AI Photo Analysis, AI Voice Transcription, and AI Translation. When you use these features, the prompts and context you submit, which can include job notes, photos, and customer-related information you choose to include, are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
Anthropic processes this content solely to return a result to you. Anthropic does not train its models on Pruvio customer data submitted through its API. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. You can disable AI features at any time in your account settings.
5. Subprocessors and service providers#
We rely on a small set of trusted subprocessors to deliver the service. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function. We do not sell personal data to any of them.

|---|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | AI processing for AI features | United States | anthropic.com/legal/privacy |

6. Payments and billing#
Stripe processes all payments made to Pruvio. We do not store full credit card numbers. We retain only a Stripe customer identifier, a subscription identifier, and the last four digits and card brand for display purposes. Stripe is certified as PCI-DSS compliant.
For Pro and higher users who use Stripe Connect to accept payments from their own customers, those customers transact directly with Stripe. The Pro and higher user is responsible for the underlying Stripe Connect agreement and for the relationship with their own customers.
7. Pruvio Verify and photo metadata#
Photos captured through Pruvio receive a SHA-256 cryptographic hash at the moment of capture, along with GPS coordinates, a device identifier, and a timestamp. This metadata is necessary to produce the tamper-evident audit chain that supports court-admissibility considerations under Federal Rule of Evidence 901.
By using the platform, the account owner consents to this metadata capture for verification purposes. End customers whose photos are captured by an account owner, for example a homeowner whose property is photographed during a service visit, should be informed by the account owner before capture in accordance with applicable local laws. The account owner is responsible for providing any notice or obtaining any consent required in their jurisdiction.
8. Data retention#
We retain account data for as long as the account is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days to allow reactivation. After 30 days, the data is queued for permanent deletion. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]. Some records, such as transaction logs and audit trails, may be retained longer where required for legal or accounting compliance.
9. Your rights and choices#
- Access. Request a copy of your data by emailing [email protected], or export it directly from Settings.
- Correction. Edit your information in Settings, or request a correction by email.
- Deletion. Delete your account in Settings, Account, Delete Account, or request deletion by email.
- Portability. A data export is available in JSON and CSV formats.
- Marketing opt-out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails, such as receipts, password resets, and account notices, cannot be unsubscribed from while the account is active.
- Additional rights. If you are in California (under the CCPA and CPRA), the EU, EEA, or UK (under the GDPR), or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy laws, additional rights may apply. We honor verified requests.
10. Security#
We protect data with encryption in transit using TLS and encryption at rest. Every database table is protected by row-level security. We perform daily backups and hash passwords using industry-standard algorithms. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable any multi-factor authentication option we offer in the future.
11. Children#
Pruvio is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it.
12. International data transfers#
Pruvio is operated from the United States, and your data may be processed there. For customers in the EU, EEA, and UK, transfers occur under applicable safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
13. Changes to this policy#
We may update this policy from time to time. We will communicate material changes by email or through an in-app notice. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
