Pruvio ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Dynamic Trading Ventures LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Pruvio mobile application and web platform (collectively, the "Service").
By using Pruvio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
- Profile Information: Company name, company address, industry type, team size, and company logo.
- Job and Documentation Data: Job names, client names, addresses, notes, activity logs, checklist completions, and any other information you enter when documenting work.
- Photos and Videos: Images and videos you upload through the Service for documentation purposes.
- Business Data: Invoice details, estimates, contracts, client contact information, and payment records you create within the Service.
- Communications: Messages you send to our support team or through in-app communication features.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Location Data: GPS coordinates attached to photos when you grant location permission. Location is recorded at the time of photo upload only and is not tracked continuously in the background.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers.
- Usage Data: Features you use, screens you visit, actions you take, and time spent on various features.
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps when accessing our web platform.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment Information: Subscription and purchase history processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe. We do not store your payment card details directly.
- Authentication: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address from those providers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Pruvio Service
- Create and manage your account and subscription
- Generate PDF reports, legal documents, and other outputs you request
- Power AI features including document generation, report writing, and business insights
- Send transactional emails including welcome messages, invoices, and system alerts
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
- Send product updates and marketing communications — you may opt out at any time
- Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
3. AI Features and Data Processing
Pruvio uses artificial intelligence to power features including legal document generation, report writing, invoice creation, and business insights. When you use AI features:
- Your job data, client information, and documentation are sent to AI processing services to generate the requested output.
- AI consent is requested during onboarding. You may enable or disable individual AI features at any time in Settings under AI Preferences.
- AI-generated content is labeled as AI-assisted throughout the app.
- We use Anthropic's Claude API for AI processing. Data shared with Claude is subject to Anthropic's data processing terms.
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 With Your Clients
When you share a client portal or resident portal, the information you choose to include is accessible to your client through the portal link. You control exactly what information is shared.
4.2 With Your Team Members
If you invite team members to your Pruvio organization, they can access job data and documentation according to the permissions you assign to their role.
4.3 With Service Providers
- Supabase: Database hosting and file storage (SOC 2 certified)
- Anthropic: AI processing for document generation and assistant features
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and purchase processing
- Apple and Google: App distribution and in-app purchase processing
- Google Workspace: Email delivery for transactional and support communications
4.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pruvio, our users, or the public.
4.5 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on AWS and is SOC 2 certified. We implement the following security measures:
- AES-256 encryption for data at rest
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Row-level security ensuring users can only access their own data
- Biometric authentication options including Face ID and fingerprint
- Cryptographic hash verification for uploaded photos via Pruvio Verify
6. Photo and Location Data
Photos you upload are stored in secure cloud storage and associated with your account and jobs. GPS coordinates are attached to photos only when you grant location permission and only at the moment of upload. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained for the duration of your subscription
- After cancellation: Data retained for 30 days allowing you to export your information
- After 30 days post-cancellation: Data is permanently deleted from our systems
- Legal holds: We may retain certain data longer if required by law
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data by emailing [email protected]
- Correction: Update your account information at any time through Settings
- Deletion: Request account deletion by contacting [email protected] or using Delete Account in Settings
- Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing email
- AI Features: Disable individual AI features at any time through Settings under AI Preferences
- Push Notifications: Manage notification preferences through your device settings
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected] with subject line "California Privacy Request."
10. Children's Privacy
Pruvio is intended for professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact [email protected] immediately.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
